Reward and Punishment
When St. Francis of Assisi sent his Friars out into the world
to preach to the people, he told them to speak simply, and to speak of
punishment and reward, that is, of hell and heaven. When a priest is all
absorbed in the work of his office, he can easily get away from this basic
topic. All of us will some day be in heaven or in hell, and both places are
forever.
Persons who die in sanctifying grace will go to heaven, and
those who die in mortal sin will go to hell. Then just why is heaven and
hell without end - forever? The answer lies in the determination of the
will of those who must go to either place.
Heaven
Those who die loving God (that is, living in obedience to
God), after death have their nature so perfected that they of their own free
will, will love God and obey God forever. Hence, they actively with their own
free will love God with all their heart, and God in His justice rewards them
forever. There is perfect obedience and love of God in their heart - pulsating
on and on. Likewise, God is returning His love by rewarding them according to
the degree of love they had at the moment of death and which continues the same
forever and ever. Hence, there is no going up or down in heaven. The Saints
have their lot set, once and for all, at the moment of death.
Hell
We must also consider the lot of the damned. When one dies in
mortal sin (that is, in rebellion to God), he is likewise perfected in his
nature so that his will, will continue on and on forever. He will hate God
forever with the degree of hatred he had at the moment he died. That act of
hatred will never get greater or less forever.
The damned will tell God, “I hate You, and I will hate You
on and on, forever.” God in His justice will tell him that He will keep the
blowtorch of hell on him as long as he continues to hate Him. We know that the
damned souls with their perfected nature will never change their mind. They
actively hate God forever, and God actively punishes them forever. God knows
that the Saints in heaven will never offend Him, and God also knows that the
damned in hell will never repent. Forever, there will be love and reward in
heaven, and forever there will be hatred and punishment in hell.

Protestants & “Your Personal Savior”
Reality is reality. If one thinks snake oil will cure his
cancer he is in for a rude awakening. If one thinks that “merely by accepting
Christ as his personal savior,” he will get himself into heaven he is in for a
rude awakening. Continuing...
We Must Be In God’s Church
The first and most fundamental commandment of God is that one
must be in His Church in order to get into heaven. Without that step all other
good works and sacrifices “even to die for Christ” will not get one into heaven.
Before moving on to other newsletter materials I shall
conclude this portion with “something to think about.” From THE SOURCES OF
CATHOLIC DOGMA (Denzinger) Number 469, I quote Pope Boniface VIII:
“Furthermore, we declare, say, define, and proclaim to
every human creature that they by necessity for salvation are entirely subject
to the Roman Pontiff.”
If that does not bother you, consider what was given at the
LATERAN COUNCIL IV (1215) in Denzinger number 430. It says:
“One indeed is the universal Church of the faithful,
outside of which no one at all is saved.”
If you are opposing those statements at death you will freely
oppose them in hell forever -- ouch!!

Men’s Attire Worn by Women
Below is a summary of a letter by Giuseppe Cardinal Siri, in
Genoa, June 12, 1960, addressed to the clergy, to sisters and educators. See the
complete letter, Men's Dress Worn by Women.
In this letter, Cardinal Siri does not address the problem
of modesty. He points out that trousers on women may be so made, that
there is nothing immodest about them. They are long enough; they are
sufficiently loose fitting and the like. He zeros in on the problem of
women dressing like men. I quote the article:
“.... it is a different aspect of women wearing of men’s
trousers which seems to us the gravest.
“The wearing of men’s dress by women affects:
-
the woman herself, by changing the feminine psychology proper
to women;
-
the woman as wife of her husband, by tending to vitiate
relationships between the sexes;
-
the woman as mother of her children by harming her dignity in
her children’s eyes.
I sure wish I had time to give you this scholarly study in
toto. More learned and holy men than I am have given us this study for the good
of all men.
No matter how we are convinced that we can get away from
ruin, if we violate natural law it will “get” us. Here is how it is stated.
God always forgives (if there is repentance); man sometimes forgives (if there
is repentance), but nature never forgives. Boldly stated, castration will
always have its effects whether we like it or not.
Before moving on I shall give you the next paragraph in
Cardinal Siri’s warning to his people and indirectly to the world. I sure
wish he had become Pope, but Divine Providence had it as we have it today.
God has a way to make Saints with the evil acts of evil men.
“In truth the motive impelling women to wear men’s dress
is always that of imitating, nay, of competing with the man who is considered
stronger, less tied down, more independent. This motivation shows clearly that
male dress is the visible aid to bring about a mental attitude of being
like a man. Secondly, ever since men have been men, the clothing a
person wears, modifies that person’s gestures, attitudes and behavior, such
that, from merely being worn outside, clothing comes to impose a particular
frame of mind inside.”
Ladies, if you insist on wearing men’s clothing (ugly jeans,
or even pretty ones, with the zipper in the front) you will certainly succeed in
dragging your generation down the sewer to hell. God always forgives; man
sometimes forgives, but nature never forgives.

Home Schooling Is Wonderful
In the August 11, 1997 edition of the Spotlight
there is a Special Supplement: Education and Home Schooling: The Fight for
America’s Future. The address of the paper is:
The Spotlight
300 Independence Ave. SE
Washington, D.C. 20003.
The supplement’s stated price is (8 copies for $4.40 + copies
30 cents each. Price includes shipping and handling).
I congratulate all the parents who home school their
children. You and your children will be blessed by God. Get the word
out to as many people as possible; save your country, save souls - set the
pattern that will make Saints. We live for nothing else.
For those who still do not know it, Public Schools are a
diabolic invention put in place by the One Worlders who in turn are the stupid
minions of Satan. I must bring these things to your attention. In my
Caritas Newsletter of July 1997, I quoted Pope Felix III as follows:
“Not to oppose error, is to approve of it, and not to
defend truth is to suppress it, and indeed to neglect to confound evil men, when
we can do it, is no less a sin than to encourage them.”

TAN Books and Publishers, Inc.
Recently TAN BOOKS AND PUBLISHERS, INC. sent out their 1997
Fall catalog. TAN’s new catalog contains fifteen new printings of old and
sacred books. I know, from reading nearly all of those books that they are
first class. This publishing company does a tremendous service to truth and
holiness. While I take exception to TAN's putting some Novus Ordo rules
(footnote additions) in the Baltimore Catechism, I still tell you that the loss
of TAN from the scene would be tragic. No other publisher is in existence that
can supply for TAN as it now functions.
As you may know TAN had to file bankruptcy Chapter 11
nearly a year ago. There is light in the end of the tunnel. Here I
quote TAN in the present catalog:
“Chapter 11 protects us from the demands of our creditors
for debts incurred prior to filing on December 13, 1996, until a payment plan to
repay those debts is approved by the creditors. Then we pay them according to
that plan. That plan went out to the creditors only July 11, and they have
until September 17 1997 to vote on it. In the meantime, if we do not continue
to show a profit during the 2 months we are still in Chapter 11 (through about
9/25/97), the bankruptcy court can force us into Chapter 7, (total bankruptcy),
close us down, sell off the assets, and TAN becomes history.”
To those of you that have the TAN catalog I encourage you to
purchase the books you like and can afford as soon as possible. The fifteen new
titles are gems, indeed. To those who do not have the catalog I encourage you
to call TAN for this catalog. The number to call is 1-800-437-5876. Check out
the fifteen new titles, please. You should also visit the TAN website which is

Catholic Treasures - More Books
Catholic Treasures
P.O. Box 5034
Monrovia, CA 91017
It could be that some of you home schoolers cannot purchase
these two books immediately, but for your sake I want this recorded in the
newsletter.
First of all, Catholic Treasures holds the error
that there is no baptism of blood and desire. You are not to purchase
those books.
The books that are most valuable are: The American
Cardinal Readers - All 8 Texts - Grades 1 thru 8 - originally published by
Benzinger Bros. in the 1920s. I have seen these books, and those who use
them love them. The complete set (Reg. $147.00) is now $125.00 (plus $7.00
s/h), complete set ITEM # 10027. You can order any single copy that you
desire. For that get your own catalog. These books are thoroughly
Catholic; from Adam and Eve on and on to Our Lord, the Mass and so forth.
Catholic Treasures has another good book especially for
beginners. The title is Catholic Home Schooling by Mary Kay Clark,
Ph.D., a writer (as of the Novus Ordo) who still remembers our traditions.
If you get the catalog you can read the program.
